Digital Transformation Delivery Partner
Rate £550-£600 per day Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid (Reading 2 days per week)
Duration: 12 months
Essential: Active Security Clearance (SC or DV)
Role Summary
We are seeking a senior, security‑cleared Delivery Partner to take ownership of delivery assurance on a critical digital transformation programme. This role is focused on reducing delivery risk, restoring momentum where needed, and ensuring key milestones are delivered on time and to the required standard.
You will operate as a trusted, hands‑on leader within a complex, high‑visibility environment - bringing control, clarity, and pace to a programme involving significant digital system integration. This is a role for someone who leads from the front, not from the sidelines.
What You’ll Do
Take Ownership of Delivery Confidence
* Establish a clear, independent view of programme health across scope, timeline, dependencies, and risks
* Identify integration and delivery risks early, taking decisive action to mitigate them
* Provide transparent, evidence‑based reporting to senior stakeholders
Drive Milestone Delivery
* Own the plan to deliver critical milestones across integrated systems
* Challenge timelines, dependencies, and technical assumptions where required
* Ensure alignment across multiple delivery teams and system components
Lead Through Integration Complexity
* Oversee delivery across complex digital system integrations (e.g., platforms, legacy modernisation, data flows, APIs)
* Ensure dependencies between systems, suppliers, and teams are actively managed
* Resolve issues arising from integration points - not just surface symptoms
Intervene to Unblock Delivery
* Step into underperforming or high‑risk areas and drive resolution
* Address bottlenecks across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
* Make pragmatic, delivery‑focused decisions to maintain momentum
Bring Structure and Discipline
* Strengthen governance, planning, and tracking where required
* Ensure clear ownership, accountability, and deliverables across the programme
* Introduce effective controls without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
Operate at Senior Level
* Engage confidently with programme sponsors, senior leadership, and oversight bodies
* Provide clear, direct updates on risks, issues, and required interventions
* Build confidence through credibility, transparency, and delivery grip
What We’re Looking For
* Proven track record of stabilising or delivering complex digital transformation programmes
* Strong experience in digital system integration (multi‑system, multi‑vendor environments)
* Experience operating as a senior delivery lead, programme director, or equivalent
* Deep understanding of integration challenges (data, interfaces, dependencies, environments)
* Ability to diagnose issues quickly and act decisively
