Role: Project Manager Contract Length: 6 months Determination: Outside IR35 (determination pending) Need to be able to obtain clearance Key Responsibilities · Responsible for all aspects of the project delivery throughout the project lifecycle from initiation to completion and handover. · Facilitate the collaboration of engineers, designers, and production teams to work to gather to develop and produce the project. · Provide leadership and set the tone for the execution of the project. · Manage project risks and opportunities and ensure corrective actions are carried out to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities. · Manage and control budget costs ensuring profit margin is maintained. · Maintain a strong relationship with clients ensuring strong communication to Provide the client with confidence by timely communication and transparency throughout the project. · Produce and present daily/weekly/monthly project reporting to clients as per contractual requirements. · Produce, maintain and present internal project reports to be able to communicate project performance, forecasts, risks, and issues. · Supports clients to navigate their technical and commercial assurance requirements. · Manage the application of project contracts ensuring a clear understanding of scope and ensuring that all parties meet their contractual requirements, implementing EWNs and CEs as they occur. · Monitor production progress and support shop floor/site teams as work progresses with regular shop floor presence and site visits to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback. · Work closely with the production, Engineering and quality department to accurately plan the weekly/monthly workload to achieve project schedule. · Lead/Support on tendering providing high quality estimates for potential customers. · To carry out any other relevant task as requested. Essential · A project management qualification such as Prince 2, APM or PMI and you will have a formal engineering qualification minimum level HND / HNC. Working experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering or equivalent · Working experience as Project Manager of medium and complex projects · Proficiency in tools: Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel · Ability to manage own and others workload. · Ability to work effectively in a team and under high-pressure circumstances.
