Fulltime Day Care Position

Training and ongoing support is provided throughout your career.
As a care assistant you will be expected to:
* To deliver hands on care to residents in a person cantered way while assist clients with personal care tasks.
* Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, re-positioning and movement of clients.
* Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life and encourage participate in social and recreational activities.
* Exemplify our Philosophy of Care
* Act in accordance with the General Social Care Councils Code of Conduct
* Promote the good reputation of the home at all times.
* Observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
* Carry out all duties in a safe manner showing regard to the health, safety and welfare of self, colleagues, patients and visitors to the home
The Ideal care assistant will:
* A friendly approach and the ability to put residents at ease, whatever their physical or social needs
* Delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting.
* A good knowledge of basic health care and hygiene standards
* Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
* Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
