We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused International Administration Officer to join our International Office. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality services for our international students and contribute to the continued growth and success of our international programmes. In this role, you will provide administrative support across a range of international activities, including processing student applications, maintaining accurate records, supporting student enrolment, and ensuring compliance with UKVI sponsor licence requirements. You will also play an important role in delivering excellent customer service to international students, parents, homestay families, and overseas agents. The successful candidate will have strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. You will be comfortable working with databases and information systems, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in an administrative role and strong IT skills are essential. Experience in an education setting, working with international students, or knowledge of UKVI compliance processes would be advantageous. You will join a supportive team committed to providing an outstanding experience for international students and helping them integrate successfully into college life. The role may also involve supporting international events, student activities, and participation in an out-of-hours emergency phone rota. Key Responsibilities To promote and support the safeguarding and welfare of children and vulnerable adults you come into contact with. Process international student applications in line with college entry requirements and departmental procedures. Maintain accurate physical and digital student records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and audit requirements. Act as a Level 1 User for the Home Office Sponsor Management System (SMS), including managing visa-related processes and issuing Confirmations of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). Provide professional customer service to students, parents, homestay families, and agents via phone, email, and in person. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Educated to Level 3 or equivalent (e.g. A Levels, BTEC or relevant vocational qualification). GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent). Experience working in an administrative role within a busy office environment.
