As Fleet Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the operational management and coordination of our UK & Ireland fleet of vehicles, including the light commercial vehicle fleet (~260 vehicles), the company car fleet (~80 vehicles), and the grey fleet operations, while maintaining operational efficiency. You’ll also assist in developing strategic advantages for the company fleet department. About the role As Fleet Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of fleet management and compliance. This includes: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the vehicle fleet Ensuring all fleet activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards Monitoring and reporting fleet-related expenses, including fuel costs, maintenance expenses, and insurance Implementing and managing fleet management software and telematics systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose Generation and analysis of reports on fleet performance, costs, compliance and present findings or recommendations to senior management Partnering with external suppliers, including leasing companies What we’re looking for Experience of managing a mixed fleet of light commercial vehicles and company cars Ability to collaborate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, while fostering positive working relationships Strong organisational skills Experience of managing a departments budget and costs Understanding of fleet and road safety regulations and compliance requirements Excellent analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and generate insight Benefits: Salary dependant on experience 6% Pension Life Cover Employee Assistance Program Training support schemes to aid your development Brilliant discounts on our products and access to Reward Gateway which offers a wide range of retailer discounts The role offers hybrid working with the need to collaborate closely with colleagues in our fantastic Birchwood Park office (WA3 6XG).
