Overview
As a Chef de Partie you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions. Responsible for a specified section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of the dishes, following set recipe specifications and brand standards. Overseeing and managing small teams of commis chefs. You will ensure the delivery of the food proposition in accordance with food safety policy. You will be enrolled on our award winning Butlins Chef Academy to enhance your skills in a fun and educational environment, helping you progress to more senior levels. You will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage, and oversee the daily operations in your own section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety policies. You will maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and mentor Commis Chefs as needed. You will prepare and cook dishes with pre-approved recipe specifications, complete relevant daily food diaries, and support budget control with the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
Responsibilities

* Safely prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipe specifications and brand standards.
* Oversee small teams of commis chefs; deputise for the sous chef as needed.
* Maintain a clean, organised workstation and adhere to health and safety regulations; lead by example with the commis chefs.
* Prepare and cook dishes to pre-approved recipe specifications; complete daily food diaries; monitor budget margins with support of Head/Sous Chef.
* Participate in the Butlins Chef Academy to develop skills and progress within the kitchen.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar level role in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification or equivalent.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to contribute to brand standards and guest experience.
* Ability to lead a team and manage margins and costs, and ensure health, safety and hygiene standards.
