Overview of the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for Product Management – Equipment Engineers to join our dynamic team at Delkia. Our aerospace team aims to provide competent engineering support to a major local defense contractor. Candidates will need to obtain security clearance and work on site as required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the supplier’s engineering program
2. Ensure distribution of updated design specifications to the suppliers
3. Liaison with procurement for technical advice and supplier liaison
4. Attend supplier reviews (virtual and face to face) as required
5. Review and process supplier technical documentation (DRL’s) plus review and acceptance of any resulting amendments
6. Coordinate evidence to support Design Certification delivery including Technical Publications and Logistical support aspects
7. Manage Change Applications through CCBs including recommending Type Change Classifications to the Sub System CVEs
8. Process formal Change Proposals through to Change Approvals
9. Attend internal progress and management reviews
10. Support Certification Plan deliverables
11. Support equipment Qualification Plans
12. Facilitate Certification gate reviews with equipment CVE as the Design Authority
13. Facilitate and witness rig and flight test activities as required
14. Support Physical/Functional Configuration Audits
15. Advise on In-Service Fault Investigations and Queries
Qualifications & Skills
Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent in Aerospace or Systems Engineering. Experience in avionic engineering domain. Demonstrable experience and training of critically reviewing product related regulations and standards establishing a robust process to assuring customer deliverables.
