Overview
We’re looking for a Retail Assistant who will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service for Defence on a part-time basis, contracted to 10 hours per week. You’ll join a team that takes pride in what they do, their food, and in our people.
As a Retail Assistant, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and recognises employees who go beyond the plate. Your shift pattern will typically be 5 out of 7 days.
Key responsibilities
* Serving customers, ensuring they receive an easy and seamless personalised experience
* Being knowledgeable about our service and helping customers with natural, engaging service
* Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
* Handling cash and operating the cash register
* Complying with Health and Safety regulations
