Overview
Part‑time Retail Sales Advisor (20 hours per week, 1 pm‑5 pm, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on rota) – joining the Brewers Decorator Centre in Battersea (Battersea Park Road). Candidates must be 18+ due to lone working.
Salary: £15,445 per annum + company pension and benefits.
Location & Store
The Battersea branch has served the local community for over 25 years. Branch hours are Monday‑Friday 7 am‑5 pm and Saturday 8 am‑5 pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional service to customers, delivering on Brewers’ reputation for quality service.
* Use product knowledge to recommend and help customers find the best product for their needs.
* Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the branch network.
* Develop sales of the company product range, including wallpaper, paint and fabric.
* Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and provide comprehensive service.
* Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising in‑store to increase visibility and sales.
* Assist with stock maintenance in the branch and unload deliveries to ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
Qualifications & Skills
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Approachable, open and friendly personality – happy to help customers and colleagues.
* Team‑oriented but capable of working independently.
* Willingness to attend training to become a Fire Marshal and/or First Aider if required.
* Keen to learn, develop skills and progress within the industry.
* Previous retail experience or product knowledge advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided to the right candidate.
