We are currently seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, working across sites located within the M25. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a stable role with competitive pay and a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect, diagnose, and assess drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, defects, or failures
2. Carry out and supervise installation, repair, and maintenance works to ensure safe and efficient drainage systems
3. Produce technical specifications and reports, recommending repairs, upgrades, or system improvements
4. Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects to specification and on schedule
5. Implement preventative solutions to reduce the risk of flooding and waterlogging
6. Incorporate sustainable drainage practices, including rainwater harvesting and green infrastructure, to minimise environmental impact
7. Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
8. Proven experience in drainage engineering or a similar role
9. Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems and installation methods
10. Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites
11. Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients and contractors
