Company Description

At Turner & Townsend, we’re passionate about making a difference. We are committed to delivering sustainable Net Zero outcomes for our clients, helping our people realize their potential, and contributing to a prosperous society.

Every day, we assist our major global clients in delivering ambitious Net Zero programs from over 112 offices worldwide.

Job Description

Our specialist Housing Sustainability and Net Zero team is expanding due to increased demand from social housing providers and public sector organizations. We seek individuals with proven industry experience in supporting housing sustainability programs to aid investment planning and delivery on the net zero carbon agenda.

Our Senior Consultants come from diverse backgrounds including energy and sustainability consultancies, multidisciplinary engineering firms, local authorities, and housing associations. They have played key roles in developing and delivering housing and real estate sustainability projects, with technical expertise in retrofit and some line management experience.

This role places you at the forefront of the UK's housing and public sectors' transition to net zero carbon. The specific responsibilities will align with your skills and experience, offering opportunities from developing net zero energy and ESG strategies to supporting project delivery on innovative projects like the Social Housing Retrofit Accelerator and Retrofit Accelerator for Homes.

3. Lead project management efforts, including client liaison, resource management, and budgeting.
4. Support social landlords and public sector bodies throughout their net-zero strategies and investment programs, from awareness and interest to completion.
5. Analyze housing asset data to benchmark energy performance and develop investment scenarios aligned with net zero targets.
6. Assist social landlords in measuring environmental performance and establishing ESG strategies and reporting frameworks.
7. Contribute to current industry assistance programs like the Social Housing Retrofit Accelerator, working directly with housing providers.
8. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to bids.

Person profile:

* Positive and creative approach
* Self-starter capable of working independently
* Dependable, collaborative, and inspiring team member
