The Role As a Personal Tax Associate, you will be an integral part of our personal tax team, learning the fundamental skills required to provide expert advice and support to a diverse range of clients. As a large private client tax team we offer a broad range of tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients and you will have exposure to interesting work, with responsibilities such as: Assisting with the preparation of personal tax, trust, partnership, inheritance tax and capital gains tax returns; Assist with tax planning and advisory projects, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and residence/domicile issues. Communicating with clients and colleagues on a daily basis to gather necessary information, answer queries and aid in the delivery of great client service; Conducting research on tax legislation and changes; Liaising with HMRC on a wide range of tax matters; Supporting the team with administrative tasks and advisory projects. Your profile What we're looking for A 2:1 classification in a relevant degree A genuine interest in a career in personal tax A strong willingness to learn and ability to take initiative when approaching tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
