The Role:

We are currently looking to hire a Systems Engineer at our coastal office in Weymouth.
The role of Systems Engineer is to ensure that our technical printing solutions meet user needs, work together as a coherent whole, and perform reliably in real-world conditions.
You Will:
* Apply knowledge and experience to translate customer, user, and regulatory needs into clear, testable system requirements.
* Review current procedures and processes and recommend improvements or changes to reflect best practice.
* Identify, review and select techniques, procedures and methods to undertake engineering tasks.
* Contribute to the design of engineering solutions.
* Maintain traceability from requirements through to design and verification.
* Plan your work and resources needed to enable effective implementation of systems engineering tasks.
* Work to the agreed quality standards, programme and budget.
* Prepare communications, documents, and reports on technical matters.
* Clearly present and discuss proposals, justifications, and conclusions.
* Manage work within all relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks, including internal company processes and procedures.
* Carry out and record the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and enhance competence.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team!
You will have:
* Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline / equivalent level 6 qualification OR Level 5 qualification (HND) OR Incorporated Engineer with mid-level experience.
* Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
* An understanding of the functional interdependencies between software, mechanical, and electrical systems.
* Experience in requirements definition and management.
* Experience in concept definition, design validation and verification of solutions.
