Mental Health Technician - Night Shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am)

Position Summary
The Mental Health Technician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision and role modeling to our patients.
Responsibilities
* Orient patient to unit and program.
* Carry out teaching activities identified in the treatment plan under the supervision of the nurse in charge.
* Provide continuous patient care and assist patients in all areas.
* Establish and maintain therapeutic boundaries complying with established training program.
* Demonstrate responsibility for observation of patients at all times.
* Assist patient with activities of daily living.
* Practice universal precautions and environment safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Requirements
* High School Graduate or equivalent. College degree a plus.
* Willing to train the right individual that has a passion for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and addiction disorders.
* Experience working with children and adolescents a plus.
* Hours: 40 hours/week. Night shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am). Must be able to work rotating weekends.
* May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
