Ask us about flexible working options to fit with your work/life balance - HappytoTalkFlexible The Role This is a key role within the Corporate HR Team, taking responsibility for leading the delivery of a number of key people priorities/workstreams including: Leading the development and embedding of our people priorities, generating and implementing creative solutions. Project management, from research to implementation, exploring the possible with a can do attitude. Using data to identify solutions/initiatives which inform the development of plans/strategies. Providing strategic advice in respect of policies, people implications, legislative changes and government initiatives. This is an exciting area of work, where teamwork and collaboration are key, and ambition and learning is encouraged! The role affords the opportunity to think outside the box and explore creative solutions. Interviews will be held on Monday 28 th July. There will be an assessment and presentation as part of the interview process, which will be provided on the day. About You We re looking for someone who s innovative and progressive in their thinking, to drive forward our people objectives. You ll have experience of managing staff and delivering projects, with the ability to work independently and with stakeholders/partners, being ambitious for the service, encouraging innovation and challenge to drive forward change. An up-to-date knowledge of employment law is key, as are project management and IT skills. A HR qualification at CIPD Level 5 or above and extensive experience is required. Following an office-based induction period, hybrid working is available to staff in line with Council policy, with the expectation that the majority of working hours are completed in Bolton Town Hall.
