Job Description
* Lead and develop the Design Technology department.
* Inspire and motivate students across the curriculum.
* Collaborate with a team of dedicated Design Technology teachers.
* Support and manage early career teachers, including welcoming ECTs.
* Run the department within the MPS1‑UPS3 curriculum framework.
* Maintain the department's location within the Borough of Merton.
Person Specification
* UK QTS, or in the process of gaining QTS.
* Strong academic background: degree, A Levels, and GCSEs.
* Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ level.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a large DT team.
* Willingness to listen to feedback and engage in professional development.
