Nicor Construction is recruiting a Domestic Plumber to work on Social Housing maintenance projects across Northern Ireland, based in Derry. The role offers a competitive salary with long‑term contracts, working hours 8 am‑5 pm Monday‑Friday with overtime available.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality service to tenants in domestic properties.
* Capture and communicate additional work through the company PDA system so the company can invoice.
* Comply with job timeframes and target dates.
* Adhere to material and workmanship schedules.
* Maintain and care for all company tools and the company van in accordance with the car policy.
* Use appropriate safety equipment and ensure work areas remain clean, tidy and safe.
* Liaise with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office, etc.
* Take responsibility for your own safety and that of others.
* Coordinate and organize materials.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of relevant site documentation.
* Assist in the training of apprentices as required.
* Participate in on‑call rota every 8 weeks.
The Ideal Person
* Level 3 NVQ in a relevant trade or equivalent.
* Previous trades experience in a similar role.
* Up‑to‑date industry knowledge.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Current and valid Full & Clean UK driving licence.
* Valid CSR Card.
* Previous experience within the Construction Industry.
* Experience working within the Social Housing sector (ideal).
