Robert Walpole and Partners (RWP), a renowned UK-based engineering consultancy based in Slough, is seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in the UK water industry to join our exceptional team. Projects
* Infrastructure: Trunk mains, distribution mains, and strategic connections.
* Non-Infrastructure: Production site civils and structural alterations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Support and Leadership
o Support and manage projects from initiation to completion.
o Provide technical expertise to project teams.
o Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Client Engagement
o Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
o Collaborate with clients to understand objectives and deliver tailored solutions.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.
o Promote a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
4. Quality Assurance
o Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of engineering designs.
o Review project deliverables to maintain the highest standards.
5. Innovation
o Stay informed about industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices.
o Contribute to innovative engineering solutions and sustainable practices.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven record of successful project contributions.
* Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE) is desirable.
* Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and advanced structural analysis tools.

* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
