Senior Clinical Pharmacist Hampshire Clinic 37.5 Hours & 12 Month Fixed Term Salary: Up to £54,325.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) The Hampshire Clinic is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join their team of staff in the pharmacy department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Provide expert clinical pharmacy input as part of the multidisciplinary team, conducting medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and therapeutic drug monitoring. Optimise medicines use through evidence-based interventions, ensuring the safe and effective management of long-term and acute conditions. Lead on implementation of medicines optimisation strategies, ensuring prescribing is cost-effective, safe, and aligned with national/local guidelines. Contribute to the development and review of clinical guidelines, protocols, and policies. Provide supervision, mentorship, and support to junior pharmacists, pre-registration trainees, and pharmacy technicians. Contribute to training programmes for pharmacy staff and support wider clinical education for nurses and prescribers. Applicants should meet the following criteria: GPhC-registered Pharmacist. Significant post-registration experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in a hospital setting. Strong clinical knowledge and experience in medicines optimisation. Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills. Experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff.
