Randomized control trials (RCTs) are the established way to evaluate the safety and efficacy of pharmaceuticals. These studies are highly controlled and typically involve a small, specific population. There is a growing need to supplement RCT data with observational/non-interventional studies, exploring disease management in real-world settings, such as routine clinical practice and patient outcomes.

The role
Assist the Bespoke project team in conducting global non-interventional studies across various therapy areas to meet client needs. Collaborate with a dedicated team, supporting research projects from design to reporting and publication.
This is a junior level role suitable for someone eager to develop research skills in a commercial environment.
Your initial responsibilities include:
1. Participating in study design, including understanding client needs, background research, literature searches, identifying questionnaires, and drafting protocols.
2. Implementing the research process, managing documentation, coordinating with external agencies, recruiting and managing clinical sites, supporting ethical approvals, and liaising with internal teams.
3. Analyzing data, supporting report and publication activities, and assisting with presentation of findings.
4. Contributing to proposal writing and generating research ideas.
The person
* Interest in research and willingness to learn non-interventional study methods (Essential).
* Degree in a relevant discipline (science, epidemiology, public health, medicine, health economics) (Essential).
* Basic skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word (Essential).
* Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
* Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and statistical methods is a plus.
* High numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
