Facilities Management Works Coordinator – Leeds
Salary: £24,800 per annum, 6% bonus potential, 22.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Permanent.
Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions manages the largest property portfolio in Europe, supporting Royal Mail’s operations across over 1,700 sites.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and dispatch maintenance jobs to engineers, ensuring job scheduling is accurate and efficient.
* Monitor all building maintenance work requests and keep engineering plans achievable.
* Liaise with sub‑contractors, managed agents and internal hire teams to ensure on‑time completion of works.
* Identify jobs at risk and raise escalations to meet target performance.
* Manage queries across email, telephone, Teams and face‑to‑face, working alongside the Helpdesk, Engineering and customers to maintain a seamless customer experience.
* Provide flexible support, including annual leave cover and handling variable workloads across other team areas.
Qualifications
* Customer focused with a first‑class telephone manner.
* Customer service and administration experience.
* Knowledge of Facilities Management services and work scheduling (beneficial).
* Strong communication and conflict management skills.
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel (filters and formulas), high keyboard accuracy, and a high level of attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
* Willingness to attend the Leeds office 3‑5 days a week.
Working Hours & Attendance
08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday, with 3 days per week in the Leeds office. A degree of flexibility is required; additional days may be requested as business needs evolve.
