We are currently recruiting for a local authority in the south west who are looking for experienced social workers within child protection and referral and assessment teams. The authority holds a ‘Good’ Ofsted but as with all authorities has experienced the strain of the shortage of social workers across the country. Therefore they are looking for experienced social workers to ensure team numbers remain high enough to keep their case load where they want it.
As well as a highly competitive pay rate of £45/h, exclusive to Leaders in Care, as a social worker within the child protection and referral & assessment team you will also have access to the benefit of flexible working. The council has measures in place to ensure all workers can work from home, but also offers further flexibility to team members giving you the opportunity to condense your working week.
