The Department of Archaeology is seeking to appoint an Undergraduate Administrator to join a small team of teaching and admissions administrators.
The post-holder will be first point of contact for the teaching, assessment and fieldwork needs of around 80 students in the Department and, to a lesser extent, around 130 borrower students from other departments.
The post-holder will work with academic and professional staff colleagues to ensure the smooth running of undergraduate assessment and examinations, teaching administration and the organisation of fieldtrips and fieldwork training.
Key responsibilities
* Acting as point of contact for Undergraduate students
* Maintaining student records
* Working with examiners on processing coursework and exams
* Assisting the Subject Convenor during the admissions period
* Assisting the Fieldwork Coordinator in the organisation of fieldtrips and fieldwork training
