Your main responsibilities will be to continually ensure all HR / Employment Law documentation is fully compliant with current legislation and to provide the highest level of support for your clients. You will be responsible for the completion and return of your work to clients within a reasonable timescale (two weeks from visit date). You should always portray a professional image throughout the course of your duties and ensure that your knowledge remains up to date through CPD.
This is a field based role
Our clients are mainly based in and around the Manchester area, so you would need to be based within a commutable distance from Manchester.
What does the role involve?
* Travelling within the UK to carry out annual audits of clients HR procedures and management systems.
* Occasional extensive travel which may include overnight stays.
* Compiling formal policies and procedures for distribution to clients.
* Compiling Statements of Main Terms & Conditions of Employment and Employee Handbooks for clients.
* Assistance with the preparation of letters or other documentation for disciplinary, grievances etc. as required by the client or company.
* Providing all clients with up-to-date and accurate advice on a range of HR / Employment Law topics, ensuring all advice complies with relevant legislation and the LFA (Legal Funding Agreement).
* Carrying out formal meetings on the client's behalf such as disciplinary investigations, appeals etc.
* Liaising with solicitors or ACAS on behalf of the client.
Additional Duties
* Provide the client with any additional information, assistance, or documentation that is requested.
* Carry out additional visits where requested by the client or the business.
What do you need to have?
* 2 years HR experience.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification preferably.
* Member of the CIPD.
* Full driving licence required to allow travel throughout the UK as and when required.
