Position Overview
Digital Engagement Executive in the Data & Insights team at RSPCA – a permanent role focused on developing innovative digital communications to raise awareness, drive supporter engagement, establish long‑term loyalty, and increase ROI for campaigns, communications and fundraising divisions.
Working Hours & Conditions
* Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
* Hybrid role – office based in Horsham, West Sussex. Expect one day per month on site, with flexible arrangements to support operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and manage the full lifecycle of digital engagement communications, working closely with internal stakeholders.
* Deliver inspiring, high‑quality communications primarily through email and digital messages, with future SMS messaging.
* Collaborate with the Digital Engagement Manager to create campaigns that increase supporter engagement and loyalty.
* Analyze key email marketing KPIs and produce reports to inform future campaign improvements.
* Build and maintain productive working relationships across teams.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in copywriting and coding templates in HTML/CSS.
* Knowledge and experience working with a CRM system; experience with Salesforce Marketing tools is a bonus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple digital communication campaigns, delivering to tight deadlines from planning through to completion.
* Experience effectively analysing key email marketing KPIs, producing and presenting reports to inform data‑driven decisions.
* Evidence of building and maintaining productive working relationships.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving.
* Good understanding of data protection regulations (DPA and GDPR).

Successful candidates for this role will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
