Job Advert: PE Teachers - January 2026 Start
Location: Manchester
Aspire People are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Female PE Teachers for maternity cover, long-term, temp-to-perm, and permanent positions available from January 2026. We have an urgent demand for high-quality PE professionals to work within secondary schools across Manchester.
About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons to secondary school students, helping them develop their physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. You'll be working in supportive, well-resourced schools that prioritise the personal and academic development of their students.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply.
* Experience teaching PE at the secondary level, with a strong focus on female students.
* Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
* Availability to start in January 2026, with the flexibility for long-term and permanent opportunities.
* Valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
* References covering the last two years of employment.
