Overview
Full Time, permanent office-based role. The Technical Software Analyst (TSA) is a key member of the Software Analysis function. The TSA will support the business and software delivery teams across the systems lifecycle for all aspects relating to requirements and testing.

Responsibilities
* Consultancy and Technical Specialism: Providing advice and recommendations to the business in terms of analysis of current system functionality based on expertise across one or more specialist technology, technique, method, product, or application areas.
* Technical Systems Analysis: Defining requirements for improving systems, reducing costs, enhancing sustainability, and quantifying potential business benefits; collaborating to create and iterate viable specifications and acceptance criteria for deployment of information and communication systems.
* Technical Requirements Definition: Contributing technical aspects of business functional and non-functional requirements to enable effective delivery of changes.
* Testing and Definition Management: Supporting planning, design, management, execution and reporting of tests using appropriate tools and techniques; creating test cases, scripts, reports, plans, etc., for relevant test phases to measure and improve software quality.
* Data Management: Managing data and information in all forms and analysing information structure, and developing innovative ways of managing information assets.
* Application Support Management: Managing and prioritising Incident, Service, Problem and Change records; providing Subject Matter Authority advice or training to users; specifying changes to systems or data with appropriate documentation and coordination with developers and colleagues.
* System Design Support: Providing the technical functional and non-functional requirements into a traceability matrix and reviewing specifications to meet business needs.
* Workload Management: Managing own workload and proactively flagging new work items as needed.
* Software Configuration: Designing and deploying software product configurations into environments or platforms.
* Project Management Support: Supporting delivery leads with inputs and guidance on project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques.
Qualifications
Essential
* Business, IT or other applicable honours degree or 3 years equivalent experience
* Broad business process and systems knowledge
* Experience of Azure Dev Ops for requirements and test work items
* Creation of technical test packs
* Technical Requirements Analysis and acceptance criteria
* Technical Requirements Documentation
* Data analysis and applicable SQL/ SOQL and/or ETL packages
* Stakeholder management of both internal and external personnel
Desirable
* Experience in a previous BA or technical BA role
* BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis or equivalent certification
* Knowledge of pick, pack and dispatch and general warehouse operations
* Knowledge of warehouse distribution software packages such as Infor M3
* Knowledge of financial software packages such as Agresso or Sage 200
