About the role

The role is based in the cGMP Formulation Warehouse in the S&IC, Hull, UK. The role provides a unique opportunity for a Raw Material Associate to be part of a team that supports small-scale product development, clinical manufacture & supply, and scale up activities for both liquids and powder processing. The raw material associate will promote a culture of quality in both aspects of the role. This may present challenges where teams have competing priorities, which will require collaboration, education, and coaching.

The role involves working across the formulation community primarily CTSG, R&D Category and Operations teams

Your responsibilities

- Regarding material management, to support small-scale product development, clinical manufacture & supply, and scale up activities for both liquids and powder processing.
- Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the ordering and receipt of Raw Materials, finished products and intermediates from both internal and external suppliers.
- Actively manage GMP and safety documentation to ensure materials are adequately controlled.
- Performing regular stock reconciliation activities and reporting all non-conformances.
- Become a local SME on the use of material administration via the LIMS management, SAP integration and storage within approved document locations.
- Facilitate Warehouse equipment service, maintenance, and repair.
- Operate within Reckitt’s Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems ensuring timely completion of documentation and compliance to all applicable standards.
- Assist in creating, modifying, and revising SOPs and workflows.
- Participate in deviation and change control management including initial investigation, and CAPAs
- Participate in the self-inspection schedule for the GMP Warehouse.
- Mentoring & coaching of Raw Material Assistant within role.


The experience we're looking for

- Demonstrable experience of working in a GMP, or warehousing environment
- Ability to prioritise multiple work streams and work to deadlines.
- Proven ability to work under pressure without compromising quality, safety and delivery.
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage outwards, manage expectations, and collaborate.
- Results oriented, self-motivated, with solid planning and organisational capabilities, a bias for action, and the capability to define, evaluate, and communicate risks.
- Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Suite.
- Experience working within a Quality Management System (ideally with direct experience of the QualityOne application) would be ideal
- Experience working with LIMS and/ or SAP would be ideal
- Experience of using a Forklift would be beneficial
