Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire, South East, UKThe Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Project Accountant on behalf of a Specialist Manufacturing business with offices in Bedford.The RoleAs Project Accountant Capital Accountant you support all project reporting and forecasting for the business working closely with Project Teams to produce increased WIP reporting and forecasts for presentation to the senior management team and external customers. Day to day duties will consist of:Produce Flash Orders, revenue and margin reportsContract accounting Revenue recognition IFRS15, margin reportingCalculate monthly provision analysisProducing a monthly cost of sales forecastProduce a contract profitability analysis detailing revenue and margin by contract.Produce supporting monthly balance sheet reconciliations for contract Asset and liability balances and provisions.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and 5 year planningAttend monthly contract status review meetingsAttend project profitability meetings, supporting Project managers.Attend some bid meetingsYour ProfileYou will be a Qualified Accountant with previous experience within Project Accounting in a fast paced complex business with experience of working with project managers and with excellent excel and spreadsheet modelling skills. You will have the ability to work across finance and non-finance teams, senior stakeholder groups and wider contacts.
