Description
We have a great opportunity for a part‑time Senior Social Worker to join our fantastic Children Looked After Team based in Weybridge for 21.60 hours per week. The salary range for this role is £28,285 - £30,705 per annum, based on 21.60 hours, pro‑rata to £47,884 - £51,175. A financial package of up to £6,000 is payable in three instalments over the first 18 months.
When not working with residents in the community, the role offers a combination of home and office working to support flexibility while ensuring team connection.

Responsibilities
* Support children living with relatives, foster families, prospective adopters, or in children’s homes and semi‑independent units
* Build sustainable relationships, ensuring their safety and supporting them toward independence
* Conduct regular visits, assessments and review Care Plans, nurturing meaningful relationships
* Prepare reports and attend court sessions as required
* Work collaboratively with other social workers, family support workers and partnership organisations such as Health Services, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Independent Reviewing Officers and carers
* Receive regular supervision and consultations with a Mental Health Focussed Social Worker
* Participate in career development via the Surrey Academy and internal training programmes
Qualifications
* Qualified Social Work degree and SWE Registration
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required for geographical travel)
* ASYE completed within two years of qualifying
* Three years post‑qualified experience
* Willingness to travel across a wide geographic area and make reasonable adjustments where needed
