We are recruiting a full-time ASB Senior Officer (37 hours per week) with a proven track record of delivering effective responses to anti-social behaviour.
This key role sits at the heart of our ASB Service, supporting the delivery of high-quality case management, partnership problem‑solving, and community‑focused interventions. We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can lead by example, drive service excellence, and work collaboratively to ensure safe and resilient communities.
Responsibilities
* Lead on complex and high‑risk ASB case management, ensuring proportionate, evidence‑based interventions
* Carry out thorough risk assessments and put in place appropriate safety, safeguarding, and reassurance plans for those affected
* Provide clear, trauma‑informed communication and support to victims, witnesses, and vulnerable individuals throughout the case process
* Develop, negotiate, and monitor behaviour contracts, warning notices, and other informal interventions to prevent escalation
* Prepare high‑quality statements, evidence bundles, and documentation to support legal tools and enforcement action where required
* Work collaboratively with key partners‑including Police, Housing, Community Safety, and support services‑to problem‑solve and deliver effective outcomes
* Monitor compliance with interventions and escalated breaches in line with policy, legislation, and risk
Qualifications
* A strong track record of managing complex and high‑risk anti‑social behaviour cases
* Confidence in assessing suitability, risk, vulnerability, and safeguarding needs, ensuring proportionate and effective action
* Skilled problem‑solving, negotiation, and de‑escalation when working with perpetrators, victims, and partners
* Clear, empathetic, and professional communication, with the ability to remain impartial in sensitive and challenging situations
* Accurate case recording, evidence gathering, and confidence using case management systems and relevant legislation
