Position Overview
The Jr. Systems Administrator plays a key role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting technology infrastructure across the organization. This position handles technical projects, system upgrades, and deployments—ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations throughout the agency’s network.

Key Responsibilities
1. Install, configure, and maintain servers, switches, network equipment, and related systems across multiple locations.
2. Assist with infrastructure, project planning, and implementation of new technology initiatives.
3. Provide support for systems, networking, and applications.
4. Manage and document system configurations, procedures, and project plans.
5. Monitor network performance and security, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
6. Assist with technology rollouts including hardware refreshes, new site setups, and major software deployments.
7. Support agency-wide initiatives such as cloud migration, VoIP systems, and EHR integrations.
8. Maintain accurate asset inventories and project documentation.
9. Demonstrate commitment to agency values of being Humble, Smart, and Driven.
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Qualifications
11. Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred), or equivalent experience.
12. Minimum of 1-2+ years of professional IT experience, including network and systems administration.
13. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and network technologies (switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
14. Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud-based environments (Azure, M365).
15. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and project management skills.
16. Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff.
17. Demonstrated commitment to the agency’s values and a dependable, respectful, and service-oriented team member.
18. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel frequently.
19. Ability to lift and carry computer equipment as required.
