Salary: GBP12.5 - GBP15 per hour
Location of the Job: County Durham.
Salary & Benefits: This role is paid by hourly rate between £12 - £16 per hour, depending on experience.
Additional Information: This is a part-time position with hours from 4.30am to 8.30am, 2pm - 5.30pm, every other Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. There are additional opportunities to work during the middle of the day.
About The Company: A part-time Milker is needed to join a team of 5 on an award-winning organic dairy farm caring for 500 cows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Milking cows as part of a team.
* Feeding cows with the feeder wagon.
* Scraping out.
* Calf feeding.
* Cubicle preparation during milking.
* General farm duties as required.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience on a dairy farm, including milking and feeding cows and calves.
* Living within 30 miles of the farm.
