Job Description:
D365 SCM Consultant, specializing in D365 SCM, D365FO, D365 F&O, D365 SC&M, Dynamics 365, D365 Finance and Operations, with expertise in warehousing, warehouse management, supply chain, inventory, distribution, trade and logistics, transportation logistics, product fulfillment, manufacturing, retail, AX, and end-user support. The role offers a salary range of £550-£650 per day.
Our global end-user client is seeking a D365 SCM Consultant to support their worldwide rollout of D365 F&SCM. This is a multiyear programme of work, upgrading from AX2012 to D365 F&SCM. The focus is on product fulfillment and distribution processes, with hands-on experience in warehousing management, inventory management, and distribution modules within D365 F&SCM required.
This is an initial 6-month contract, predominantly remote, with some European travel. Applicants must be based in the UK and have the right to work without sponsorship.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, including D365O, AX 2012, and AX 2009.
* Strong knowledge of Dynamics modules, particularly WHS and WMS, as well as sales, production management, and logistics.
* Fluent spoken and written English.
* Experience with complex, multi-country implementations, third-party system integrations, and interface management.
* Ability to design high-level architecture and execute project tasks, effectively communicating solutions and challenges.
* Leadership experience in consulting and client management, with strong prioritization and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Analyzing business processes to identify requirements.
* Performing analysis with AX/D365 knowledge.
* Understanding warehouse and distribution processes.
* Supporting system configuration activities.
* Writing high-quality solution proposals.
* Designing handheld process solutions and proposals.
* Supporting testing phases: quality assurance, functional, sub-process, and process testing.
* Assisting with data mapping and validation.
* Providing user training support.
* Facilitating business process changes, preparation, and cut-over activities.
* Investigating, resolving issues, and supporting continuous improvement activities.
Location: United Kingdom
