Cleaner - 16 hrs per week Reports to: Manager Purpose To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all public and staff areas. Responsibilities Cleaning of all bar areas internal and external, staff areas and all toilets located on the premises Correct use of all cleaning equipment and materials Checking for any health and safety issues that may prove harmful to the public and/or staff To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance is maintained at all times Any other duties relevant and related to the post Educational qualifications Educated to secondary level standard Skills and Experience No previous experience necessary An understanding of COSSH and its procedures is desirable The ideal candidate will be a team player with an enthusiastic outlook and the desire to ensure that the premises are presented to the highest standard With good communication skills, the ideal candidate will be able to approach their work in a methodical and logical manner Good attention to detail is essential Main Points of Contact Other staff in the premisesNote: Pending the number of applications, the criteria for the position may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting.
