We are recruiting an Instrumentation Technician to deliver maintenance and support across Heavy Industrial Facilities.
This is a hands-on, safety-critical role working across instrumentation systems in a highly regulated and heavy industrial facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems
* Service process control equipment: transmitters, controllers, analysers
* Support installation, commissioning, and plant upgrades
* Assist vendor service engineers and specialist contractors
* Carry out equipment isolations for safe maintenance
* Respond to out-of-hours call-outs and plant breakdowns
* Maintain site services to safe and operational standards
* Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with permits
* Keep facilities clean, tidy and hazard-free
* Participate in training to improve technical knowledge and efficiency
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
* 4–5 years’ experience in electrical/instrumentation maintenance
* Instrumentation qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3)
* Heavy industrial and/or process industry experience preferred
* Able to work independently and in a team
* Strong problem-solving, reliability, and attention to detail
* Pro-active, able to prioritise tasks under pressure
* IT literate and able to maintain accurate records
* Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards in critical processes
