Black Hat Electrical Supervisor
Location- Reading
Duration - 6 months
Rotation - 10 days on & 4 days off
Site bonus per Hour T&C apply

Responsibilities
* As an Electrical Supervisor, you will supervise all site work activities and oversee all aspects of the electrical team, including planning and developing work schedules.
* Enforce the company safe working ethic including safety regulations, health and safety and adherence to proper codes and standards.
* Keep up-to-date with electrical legislation, codes and standards and ensure employees are informed of changes.
* Have experience of and understanding of both high and low voltage electrical systems; practical experience in installation, repair and maintenance of all types of high and low voltage electrical systems.
* Be knowledgeable in tools, materials and equipment used in the electrical trade and their correct use.
* Supervise and set to work your workforce; ensure workspace is in acceptable condition and suitable for use.
* Ensure that all controls are in place to reduce risk and that essential safety requirements are communicated to the team before works commence.
* Monitor quality of workmanship and standards during installation works; apply supervisory techniques.
* Communicate effectively with employees; conduct ongoing evaluations of personnel and manage discipline and recommendations for promotion or team roles.
* Review plans for new projects, including inspection of new structures to ensure compatibility with existing electrical codes and maintenance standards.
* Maintain records, submit reports including timesheets.
* Develop, implement and monitor safe systems of work and site-specific documentation.
* Estimate time and materials for assigned work projects; assist the engineering team with design requirements including surveys and reports.
* Work with budgeting awareness to ensure works are completed on schedule and within budget; collaborate with the Quality Team to ensure ITP, LTQR & check sheets are up to date and compliant.
Qualifications
* Completed a Fully Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* JIB Registered Trade Card with Approved Electrician Grading or higher (Essential)
* City And Guilds 2380 18th Edition Qualification
* City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Electrical Testing and Inspection
* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training) Qualification or equivalent for Supervisor Level (Essential)
* Three Day First Aid Training (Essential)
