Job Role
* Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
* Plan and prepare lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
* Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management and implement school policies
* Support students’ literacy development and learning needs through effective differentiation
* Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Required Skills and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English (ECTs welcome)
* Experience working as an English Teacher in a UK Secondary School
* Strong subject knowledge of English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Experience planning and delivering lessons independently
* A positive reference from your most recent employer
