Ealing Trailfinders is an ambitious and progressive, rugby union club based in West-London. The men’s side compete in the RFU Champ Rugby, and the Women are in the Premiership Women’s Rugby.
This is an opportunity to join Trailfinders during a very exciting period of the Club’s history.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Community Delivery Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of our community programmes. You will be responsible for ensuring that all school sessions, holiday camps, rugby club activities, matchday initiatives, and Foundation projects are delivered in an enjoyable, engaging manner and to a consistently high standard.
You will line manage two full-time Community Coaches and a team of part-time coaches, providing clear guidance, support, and scheduling to ensure high-quality delivery across all programmes. The role also requires you to maintain strong and professional relationships with schools, clubs, external partners, parents, and participants.
A key part of the role is measuring the impact of our work and effectively telling our story. Each programme has its own reporting requirements, which must be completed accurately and on time.
You will help drive programme growth, support wider club activity, and play an important role in increasing the visibility and awareness of Ealing Trailfinders and Trailfinders Women within the local community.
The position involves some travel across the borough and surrounding areas, so the post-holder must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Delivery & Operations
•Oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of all community coaching programmes, including schools delivery, after-school clubs, holiday camps and Foundation programmes.
•Manage day-to-day operational logistics including staffing, scheduling and venues.
•Ensure all sessions delivered meet the club’s standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.
•Work closely with the Head of Community to develop new programmes and refine existing delivery models.
•Working with the wider team and club to drive our community engagement to link back to attendance at both Men’s and Women’s fixtures.
Line Management & Coaching Oversight
•Line management of the two full-time Community Coaches, providing regular guidance, performance reviews, and ongoing professional development.
•Ensure coaching staff comply with safeguarding, health & safety, and club policies.
•Support coaches with session planning, school relationship management, and delivery best practice.
•Monitor coach timesheets, workloads, and delivery quality.
•Work with both our men’s and women’s professional players in the delivery of our programmes.
•Ensure delivery hours and any other relevant information is being tracked using Upshot (MEL System)
Business Growth & Financial Delivery
•Ensure that our delivery programmes are meeting financial targets.
•Ensure growth in engagement is met through strong programme uptake and new partnerships.
•Identify new revenue opportunities in schools, clubs, and community settings.
•Oversee camp bookings, pricing, staffing costs, and profitability.
Stakeholder Relationships
•Maintain and grow relationships with partner schools, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat bookings.
•Act as the main operational contact for schools and camp venues.
•Support Foundation funders/partners to ensure grant programmes are delivered on time and on budget.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
•Track outcomes and feedback from schools, camps, and Foundation programmes.
•Produce regular delivery and financial reports for the Head of Community.
•Ensure Safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met.
•Maintain delivery records, risk assessments, evaluation forms, and performance data.
General
•Continue to develop your skills and knowledge.
•Be a strong, consistent example of all the Club’s values and vision.
•Promote, maintain and uphold the standards within the Club.
•Any other reasonable requests.

THE PERSON
Experience
Essential
•Experience managing or coordinating community or sports development programmes.
•Proven experience line managing staff or supervising coaches/volunteers.
•Experience working with schools, clubs, or community organisations.
•Experience planning, delivering, and evaluating sessions or events.
•Experience building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
Desirable
•Experience working within a professional sports club or sports foundation environment.
•Experience delivering or managing rugby-based programmes.
•Experience collecting data and producing reports for funders or partners.
•Experience supporting safeguarding practices within a community or education setting.

Qualifications
Essential
•England Rugby Coaching Award (ERCA) or equivalent.
•Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
•First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
•Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
•Degree or equivalent qualification in Sports Coaching, Sports Development, Education, or a related field.
•Additional sports coaching qualifications.

•Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
•Confident delivering engaging, high-quality sessions.

●Experience using booking or reporting systems.
●Creative thinking around programme growth and community engagement.
