Job Description
The Associate Manager – Parkwide Systems supports the design development, delivery, installation, and commissioning of parkwide technology systems across Universal Creative projects. Based in Bedford, this role partners closely with creative, IT, facilities, security, operations, vendors, and construction stakeholders to ensure systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined technical, operational, and guest‑experience standards.
Responsibilities
* Manage and support the end‑to‑end delivery of parkwide systems, from concept and design through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
* Support project planning activities including scope definition, schedules, budgets, risk management, and change control.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system requirements are clearly defined and executed.
* Track progress, identify issues early, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery commitments.
* Participate in site walks, construction coordination meetings, and system integration reviews.
* Act as a subject‑matter resource across multiple parkwide system domains, including security, operational technology, guest‑facing systems, and back‑of‑house platforms.
* Review and contribute to system architecture, basis‑of‑design documentation, equipment specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
* Ensure systems meet performance, reliability, cybersecurity, redundancy, scalability, and maintainability standards.
* Support integration with network infrastructure, AV systems, enterprise IT platforms, and operational control and monitoring systems.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, IT, Systems Engineering, AV Technology, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience working in multi‑stakeholder environments such as attractions, theme parks, transport hubs, hospitality, or large public venues.
Working knowledge of
* Networked systems (LAN/WAN, VLANs, multicast, QoS)
* Security and operational technology platforms
* Guest‑facing and back‑of‑house systems
* Hardware, software, and system integration principles
