Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised research coordinator to support the NIHR portfolio of research studies. The role focuses on increasing research participation across NHS and non‑NHS settings including primary care, social care, community services, care homes and hospices.

* We’re looking for a graduate with experience in Primary Care, general practice or other NHS/non‑NHS settings, eager to work in an outward‑facing role.
Main Responsibilities
The postholder will work on all aspects of study set‑up and delivery, including feasibility, confirming capacity & capability of sites and participant recruitment, through to payment of research‑related costs. Key duties include:
* Act as the first point of contact for telephone, email, and personal enquiries from researchers and stakeholders relating to community and primary care research engagement.
* Communicate with a wide range of organisations including departmental colleagues, higher educational institutions, community organisations, practice managers, GPs, clinicians, patients and local Research Delivery Network contacts.
* Monitor and respond to requests from care home managers, hospice managers, general practices and other non‑NHS community services to participate in research studies.
* Provide administrative support to researchers and other members of the team.
* Maintain knowledge of the NIHR and Research Delivery Networks and stay up‑to‑date with research management within the NHS.
* Adhere to confidentiality, ICH Good Clinical Practice, Trust R&D and information governance policies.
* Use excellent organisational and time‑management skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* Work independently on own initiative, delegating or escalating as appropriate.
* Identify learning needs and seek training opportunities.
Working Conditions
You will be based at Noclor NHS Research Support Service in Kentish Town. You will work primarily in office Monday‑Friday, with one day fortnightly work‑from‑home after the first six months. Flexibility to travel across services within the Trust is essential.
Qualifications & Education
* Essential: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification or appropriate working experience.
* Desirable: Experience in an NHS or commercial health research environment and/or postgraduate qualification in a science/health‑related subject.
Knowledge & Experience
* Essential: Experience working in a research environment and in Primary Care, general practice, care homes, hospices or similar organisations.
* Desirable: Experience in an NHS/academic or pharmaceutical environment; familiarity with the set‑up and structure of local community services.
