SEN Teaching Assistant, Burgess Hill
Rate: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Permanent, term-time
Location: Burgess Hill
Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support to pupils with SEN (cognition & learning, ASC, SEMH)
* Implement and monitor Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Adapt and prepare differentiated learning resources
* Support pupils with social skills, independent living, communication, and behaviour
* Attend and contribute to review meetings, safeguarding meetings, and multi-agency team work
* Mentor pupils during unstructured times (play, break, social interaction)
* Maintain records of pupil progress, behaviour, and intervention outcomes
Requirements / Advantages:
* Driving licence an advantage for working across nearby schools
* Enhanced Child-Only DBS required or willingness to apply
* Experience working in SEN settings is beneficial

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
