You’ll work across modern backend architecture, building services that are fast, resilient, secure and built to scale, all while collaborating closely with product, mobile, and frontend teams.
What You’ll Work On
* Designing and improving backend services that power web + mobile applications
* Building and maintaining high‑performance APIs and distributed microservices
* Solving problems around scalability, reliability, security, and automation
* Working with modern API protocols including GraphQL and gRPC
* Enhancing the platform that connects both traditional and on‑chain financial services
Must‑have experience:
* Strong backend engineering background with deep coding experience
* Professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) and/or Golang
* Solid understanding of microservices, event‑driven systems & distributed architecture
* Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Redis
* Understanding of web semantics, API design & backend web standards
* Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
* Experience with CI/CD, build automation and modern engineering pipelines
* Excellent communication skills & ability to work cross‑functionally
Bonus experience:
* Building APIs for high‑scale consumer or B2B products
* Working with message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, NSQ, or Pulsar
* Integrating external APIs/services
* Performance optimisation & working under performance budgets
* Interest or experience in cryptocurrencies, Web3, or digital assets
* Open‑source contributions or tech blogs/talks
