Overview
Are you an experienced mental health professional who enjoys working autonomously? There is an exciting role available in the Gravesend Alliance/Springfield Health PCN (Gravesend locality). The role helps to bridge the gap between Primary Care and specialist Mental Health services by delivering high quality Mental Health care in Primary Care settings and ensuring people’s needs are met in a timely way.
There will be a requirement to travel between various GP surgeries in the locality, in a timely manner. The role requires a highly competent, proficient practitioner, who is able to work autonomously and creatively in this busy and demanding role. Excellent assessment skills and knowledge of local services are essential. Experience in a leadership role is valuable. You will also provide supervision to the band 6 Mental Health Practitioners across the locality.
Successful candidates must be experienced Mental Health Practitioners with experience of working in a Primary Care and/or Community Mental Health setting. Roles are open to all professions. You will be a confident, assertive communicator with colleagues and stakeholders alike. Above all you will have the ambition and drive needed to work within an environment of change and innovation.
Responsibilities

* Travel between GP surgeries in the locality in a timely manner
* Provide supervision to Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners across the locality
* Carry out excellent assessments and maintain knowledge of local services
* Communicate confidently and assertively with colleagues and stakeholders
* Demonstrate leadership experience as valuable where applicable
Qualifications
* Experienced Mental Health Practitioner with experience in Primary Care and/or Community Mental Health settings
* Open to all professional backgrounds
* Ability to work autonomously and adapt to change and innovation
* Strong assessment skills and knowledge of local services
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
