As a
Deputy Depot Night Manager
, you will play a crucial role in managing our night shift operations. Reporting directly to the Depot Manager, you’ll ensure the accurate and timely delivery of newspapers and magazines to our retailers. This is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to lead and inspire! Your Responsibilities
Supervise and support all staff, providing training and coaching while identifying training needs. Generate accurate reports that highlight challenges and successes. Collaborate with the management team to identify potential risks. Maintain a high level of health and safety at all times. Ensure compliance with legislation and company policy. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in a warehouse management role. You should be able to demonstrate: Experience in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage large operations and liaise effectively at all levels. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships. Experience in planning and executing night operations, addressing challenges as they arise. Tenacity and a results-driven approach to exceeding targets. Computer literacy, with a strong command of MS Office and IT systems. Excellent business acumen and financial awareness. Please note:
