The Role:
1. Serve as a point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional support via phone and email
2. Accurately process customer orders, ensuring compliance with stock levels, pricing, and delivery schedules
3. Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to track order status and resolve any issues
4. Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies
5. Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery accuracy
6. Monitor stock levels and alert relevant teams to potential shortages or delays
7. Schedule collections and deliveries with logistics providers
8. Prepare delivery documentation (packing lists, labels, shipping notes) as required
9. Track shipments and ensure on-time deliveries to customers and distribution partners
10. Create and maintain product records in ERP or inventory systems
11. Input product specifications, pricing, and categorisation details accurately
12. Support updates to product catalogues, BOMs (bills of materials), and system data as needed
Skills:
13. Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or logistics support role-ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment
14. Familiarity with supply chain processes, order systems, and transport coordination
15. Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage)
16. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
17. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
18. High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
