About The Role Acting under the direction of the Plant Availability Supervisor, the Operations Support will ensure the safe and efficient operation of all plant availability activities. In doing so, they will be promoting a culture of maximum plant reliability, flexibility, and availability. This is to be achieved whilst attaining high standards of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental performance. Required Criteria Technical qualification relating to process plant operation and / or maintenance (equivalent to level 3 or above) OR 2 years experience in assembly and disassembly of mechanical plant Demonstrate the ability to understand, receive and administer Permit-to-Work documentation and associated safety procedures for the supervision and control of contractors Be capable of safely carrying out the physical aspects of the role, including working in an industrial environment, accessing plant areas and undertaking site inspections Be willing and able to work for short periods in adverse environmental conditions, including working at height and exposure to varying temperatures, while complying with all applicable health and safety requirements Computer literate Willing and able to learn Technically minded Self-motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Good communication skills Able to think logically and solve problems Skills Needed Problem Solving, Attention to detail, Technical Skills, Communication Salary £30,000.00 per year Skills: Problem Solving Attention to detail Technical Skills Communication Benefits: Vacation, Paid time off Retirement plan and/or pension Flexible schedule Competitive salary
