We seek an experienced individual with a proven track record in delivering and managing EIA projects. Our current projects include renewable energy schemes (solar, wind, hydroelectric), fuel production and energy storage, major infrastructure projects, rail, military site master planning, water infrastructure, and coastal defenses.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression. You will collaborate with technical specialists, lead and coordinate EIAs, work closely with clients, develop new business, and mentor team members.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in an environmental discipline, likely be chartered, and possess comprehensive knowledge of EIA processes and large infrastructure project assessments. We provide ongoing training and mentorship to support your development.
Responsibilities:
* Lead coordination and delivery of environmental work, including EIAs and assessments;
* Manage teams of environmental professionals;
* Oversee project programme and budget management;
* Promote high environmental standards within engineering projects;
* Ensure quality and timeliness of own and others' work;
* Manage client relationships confidently and professionally;
* Lead bid preparations and develop new business areas;
* Engage in CPD activities as per professional requirements;
* Mentor and support staff development.
Requirements:
* Degree or Masters in environmental or science field;
* Experience in delivering EIAs for major infrastructure projects;
* Knowledge of UK EIA legislation and processes;
* Experience leading multidisciplinary teams;
* Strong report writing, presentation, and review skills;
* Ability to prioritize and work under pressure;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
* Flexibility and adaptability, willingness to work at different locations;
* Self-motivated with enthusiasm for sustainable outcomes.
