We are looking for caring, dedicated and motivated Health Care Assistant to join the team at New Hall Hospital in Salisbury. You will be assisting in the delivery of care to a variety of specialities including orthopaedics, general surgery and plastic surgery and to name a few.
You will need to have a flexible approach to your working hours to enable us to deliver high quality round-the-clock patient care. You will be part of a team providing the very best in patient-focused healthcare services.
You must have a caring approach, be a good communicator and be capable of delivering high standards of patient care.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will:
Be an instrumental team member to ensure that experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries is of an excellent standard
Be involved in the training of new staff to ensure patient safety is priority
Understand people’s individual needs
Be involved in a role in a fast-paced environment with job satisfaction
Work flexibly to support the surgical team
Create an environment that promotes staff development and career progression
Qualifications and Experience
NVQ in Healthcare or working towards
The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues
