Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who will be responsible for providing leadership, good management, and strategic direction to the school. The role involves conducting the affairs of the school to benefit pupils and the community it serves. You will lead and manage whole school policy, its implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, you will manage and develop the school curriculum, learning, and teaching provision to promote improved educational outcomes.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Holding the Standard for Headship is a prerequisite for teachers taking up their first permanent headteacher post at Local Authority and grant-aided schools in Scotland from 1 August 2020, under Section 28 of the Education (Scotland) Act 2016.
* Exemptions apply for certain cases, such as those appointed before 1 August 2020 or temporary appointments not exceeding 23 months after this date.

* Salary will be in accordance with SNCT agreements, and the grade may be subject to annual review.
* A minimum of one reference, preferably from your current or most recent employer, is required.
